We will bill for all Medicare and some Workers’ compensation cases.*
We will bill for injuries from an auto accident if you have ‘Med-pay’ as part of your policy. If you don’t have Med-pay, then we will bill the appropriate insurance company (yours or the other driver’s) if you have an attorney. If you prefer not to have an attorney involved in the case, then you will have to discuss payment with Dr. Hoewisch or his staff. Options in this case include paying yourself for your care or signing a promissory note to pay at the close of the case.
All children from ages 0–18 receive care at 40% off unless special circumstances apply, such as an auto accident.
We do not bill for Medi-Cal patients. Instead, Medi-Cal patients receive their care at half price for all adjustments, X-rays, and physical therapies. Not included in this are orthopedic supports and nutritional supplements. This policy also applies to anyone unemployed.
We don’t belong to any HMO’s and we have only one PPO (Blue Shield). The reason for this is because these types of organizations compromise the quality of our care, and quality is our main concern. Thus, we have several plans that are easy and affordable. We have a large number of patients who come to us because of the quality of care which we provide, even though we are not on their insurance list. In these cases, we give a credit for any visits that would be covered under those policies.
We also give discounts to those patients who pay in advance either all at once or monthly or weekly.
*Any person who makes or causes to be made any knowingly false or fraudulent material statement or material representation for the purpose of obtaining or denying workers' compensation benefits or payments is guilty of a felony.
Our office is based on the simple truth that, if we satisfy and delight our patients, they will get well faster and be more likely to tell others about our office. This avoids costly advertising and helps keep our fees reasonable.
Since chiropractic results vary, we can’t guarantee results, but we can guarantee your satisfaction. So, if within 6 visits to our office, you are not completely delighted with your decision to consult our office, we will happily refund the money you’ve paid us for treatment.
The muscles and soft tissues of the spine will probably require continued chiropractic care; but, by 6 visits, most patients know that consulting our office was the right choice.
